The Walk of Hope is an annual event put on by RESOLVE in multiple cities across the country. RESOLVE is a national infertility association whose aim it is to raise awareness about infertility and provide support groups for the various aspects of dealing with infertility. The Sacramento and Roseville chapters of RESOLVE just put on their 3rd annual Walk of Hope held at the steps of the state capital building on September 19th.
Our office had a tent and table setup where we served organic lemonade and seed cycling treats (a natural way of helping regulate a menstrual cycle, but also, just a yummy treat in general ). Click here for the recipe. We spoke to people about the benefits of acupuncture for fertility. Many patients stopped by to say hello. It was great to see familiar faces, and even the faces of some of the children we helped to conceive. There were also many other businesses there representing various aspects of the fertility field that we got to acquaint ourselves with.
We had fun taking pictures and entering to win the many raffle prizes. Our very own Kimberle Martinez won a salon gift basket. The mood was lively and supportive. Looking forward to next year!
